hi,

i installed visual source safe server in one machine(production03) which is running windows server 2008. I installed domain controller on that server with the name matrix. and i created 5 domain users as in my office we have 5 developers only. and all of my client systems are in workgroup.

i created a database named sampledatabase1 in visual source safe server . and i created 2 users named sample1,sample2. And i choose e://visual source safe/sampledatabase1/ for database when i am creating the database. I gave sharing permissions for the database folder to the all of my developers user accounts.

now i am trying to open the database from client machines with the user name sample1it giving an error that "unable to open the user login file \\production03\sampledatabase1\data\loggedin\sample1.log .

can you any body help me out from this .
