i dont know, whether this is right place to ask this question or not.(Please show me the way if i am wrong).
since last one week our developers were complaining that VSS is misbehaving. Today, when i was analyzing the issue, i came to surprise that our VSS database server's time is 4 months older than current.
i dont know exactly what happened or who changed the time.
after fixing the time i ran analyze.exe -F -v3 -D.
but i am getting a lot of errors like "A timestamp in the log for XXXX(XXXX) is out of sequence.
can someone help me in understanding, how big this problem is. and i am also interested in knowing How exactly Check-In, Check-Out works.
how can i fix the issue.
