there were deployment errors. continue?

Hi all,

I really don't know where to post my question. I have VS2008 + SP1 on WinXP. I have a WCF application, I created a setup project for my WCF application. So there are several projects under my solution.

When I run my application from VS in debug mode I can see a dialog box popup saying "there were deployment errors. continue?", I clicked OK and I can continue.

What is exactly wrong with it?

Hi Hardy

Was it an error happened at debugging within VS and at which step the error popped up?
Does this problem happen to other project/solution?

Thanks.

Hi Figo,

The error happens right after I pressed F5, VS finished compiling and before lauching the apllication.

It happens to one particular solution so far.

Thanks
Hardy

Hi Hardy

So if to rebuild it or run it from outside VS, there is no problem, right?

It looks that the problem is the debug settings of the solution/project, is there and detailed information along with the error popped?
Meanwhile, you can try the uncovered points mentioned in this QA : What can be done if Visual Studio IDE encounters unexpected problems?

Hope it help.

Thanks.
