my documents location not honored

This has been going on for years but I enter this anyway. VS (2008, 2005, etc.) will not honor the location of 'my documents'. It sticks some empty folders into the C: drives docs and settings my documents. Why can't it see that my 'my documents' is somewhere else? It is not reading the environment or ignoring it.

Hello Paul,

Unfortuantelly Visua Studio will not automatically detect the path of 'My Document' in the current release. Sorry about that.

You may submit this feedback here and I will communicate with the developers later.

Thank you for your understanding and contribution to make Microsoft Visual Studio better.
