File -> Project -> C# -> Database not showing

We have installed Visual Studio 2008 on 2 machines.

One machine is notshowing Database project under File -> New -> Project -> Visual C# but the other is not. Is something missing with the installation?

Both the machines have Business Intelligence Design Studio installed.

Hi,

apologies for the confusion. It was just another CD that we needed. Problem resolved.

It is irrelevant to BI of Sql Server installation (BI uses VS 2005 IDE instead)
You can try running devenv /setup, devenv /ResetSkipPkg, devenv /InstallVSTemplates and devenv /ResetSettings in order to see if it helps.
Also if you use any 3rd party add-ins, please try devenv /Safemode to disable all add-ins.

And one possible reason is one machine's not with SQL Server installed?

If this is not the case,please let me know.

Thanks.
