Currently am installing Visual Studio 2003 but getting error message 'The program has known compatibility issues.....'.
Another messages is appeaing as 'Visual Studio .Net 2003 has a known compatibility issue with the version of Windows'.

As far I understand, we need to migrate into some other upgraded version of Visual Studio other than 2003. Can anyone  advice any authentic site where Microsoft clearly addressed the compatibility issue of Visual Studio 2003 with Windows 2008 operating system.

Hello Saqib,

I have not found any authentic site about installing Visual Studio 2003 on Windows 2008. But as installing Visual Studio 2003 on Windows Vista is not supported(see here), I believe it is also not supported on Windows 2008.

As I find any official clarification about this issue. I will post back here.
