The mobile software factory installer still requires the June 2006 GAX and GAT. I am running on Windows Server 2003 Standard x64 edition. Installing theGuidance Automation Toolkit is successful but installs to Program Files (x86), is this perhaps the issue?

The MSI for the Mobile software factory was supposedly updated on the MSDN servers with a version that installs ok with the latest version of GAX. The original Mobile SF bits contained a restrictive check that only installed on GAX June06 an no other.

Have you downloaded the Mobile SF recently or are you handling with an "old" (I think the refresh occurred like a month ago) MSI that may be causing this?

If you still can't make it install with the very latest MSI let me know and I can point you to how to make it install with a few touches to the MSI.

Did you tried use the latest version of Smart Client?
