URGENT: Project and Item Templates issue!

My Project(Web)/Item templates (the ones under Templates\Items and Templates\Solutions\Projects\) don’t appear in the “Add New Project/ Add New Item�?dialogs. The initial website gets created thru File >> New >> Project >> Guidance Packages >> My Custom Guidance >> “My Custom Template�? After that, when I try to add a project again using Add >> New Project right-clicking the solution or “Add New Item�?right-clicking the initially added website, I don’t see either of the templates. I tried all combinations of ProjectType/ProjectSubType/SortOrder/etc. Still no luck! Don’t these templates get registered automatically? If not, how do I accomplish it?

Hi,
Yes the templates are registered automatically, but you need almost one template reference (bound or unbound) associated to each template in order to enable it in the New Project/ Project Item dialogs.

Take a look in the default guidance package which is created by GAT, there you've several templates and all of them has its reference.
