Hi,

I uninstall VS 2008 Pro 90 days trail,service Factory CTP releasefrom my systemand i installed VS 2005 90 days trail.

I tried to uninstall Guidance automation tool.

While unistall process, i am getting an error...

An Exception Occured while unistalling.This exception will be ignoredand uninstall will continue.

However,the application might not be fully uninstalled after the uninstall complete.-->

The project factory is not registerd, template c:\programfiles\Microsoft Guidance Automation Toolkit\Templates\Items\Action\Action.vstemplate cannot be installed.

Also i tried to install Web service software factory december release... but there also i am facing some issues which are specified below..

Unable to get Installer typesin the c:\ProgramFiles|Microsoft Visual Studio8\Common7\IDE\Public Assemblies\Microsoft.Practices.ServiceFactory.Asmx.Installer.dll assemlby,--> unable to load one or more of the requested types. Retrive the LoaderExceptions Prpoerty for more information.

After this the installation process rolls back....

I am stuck up with this exception, can anybody please help me...

Let's check we're on the same page: you installed GAX for VS2008, plus GAT plus Service Factory CTP, you then un-installed VS2008 and installed VS2005. After that you went to un-install GAT (not GAX) right?

Let's confirm this so I can give you proper suggestion on how to proceed.
