I can’t update the Guidance Automation Extension to version July 2007. The problem is that I have unistalled the older version July 2006 Guidance Automation Toolkit, this went ok. Then I tried to uninstall Guidance Automation Extension, this was impossible because I have to uninstall Mobile Client Software Factory first. The problem is that I can’t uninstall Mobil client software factory, I receive the message that Guidance Automation Toolkit version July 2006 must be present.

I have tried to find Guidance Automation Toolkit version July 2006 but it seams that it can’t be downloaded.

Looks like you are somehow using an older MSI of the Mobile SF that is checking for an older version of GAX.

Try this: go to the RecipeFramework.xml manifest file and remove the entry corresponding to the Mobile SF, that will be enough to fool GAX into thinking that Mobile SF is gone and should happily uninstall.
