Unable to install Web Service Factory Modeling Edition FebCTP for VS2008

I have vsnet 2005 and 2008 installed side by side. I had GuidanceAutomationExtensions July 2007 installed for vsnet 2008 rtm previously. I have unistalled July CTP of GAX, installed Feb2008 version of GAX and now i can not install

Web Service Factory Modeling Edition FebCTP for VS2008. I am gettin the error below.

Error 1001: The project factory ServiceSoftwareFactoryProduct is not registered,template C:\Program Files\Microsoft Service Factory V3\Guidance Package\Templates\Solutions\ServicesGuidancePackage.vstemplate cannot be installed.

I have tried manually changing CurrentHive to 9 and installing but with no success.

As you can read in this post and updated version of Service Factory that will work with GAX\GAT 1.4 (Feb 2008) will probably available near the end of this week.

i got exactly the same problem.
i even tried to install the guidance package manually with installutil.exe, but without success.
I'd be thankul too for some kind of workaround!

Hi,

There are indeed some issues with Service Factory CTP against GAX\GAT (Feb 2008). I suggest to follow this thread on the Service Factory workspace to hear about the latest details.
