I am trying to develop a guidance pakage and then register it just for debugging purposes. I am experiencing very unstable behaviour afterI have made changes to the XML file. Now I am not getting the option to register the package (right click on project in solution explorer) at all. I tried unistalling and reinstalling GAT again...

You should activate the Guidance Package only once and this decision should be saved. So once the solution is closed and reopened the Guidance Package should still be activated. Is this how it's working for you?

Hi, is GAT activated from the Guidance Package Manager (Tools->Guidance Package Manager->Enable / Disable Packages...)?

That helped. But do i have to enable it every time i load the guidance pakage solution.

Hi,

Yes the decision is getting saved but somethingI did yesterday gave be a very erratic behaviour. I cant trace what I did exactly but i had cleaned the hive.Could that be the problem somehow. Because DSL tools are very unstable due to the fact that VS has 2 registries.
