I am having trouble installing the Factory patterns.

I'm running 64 bit Windows Vista Ultimate 2xquad processor system with 8 meg of memory.

I have installed the SDK 1.0 (no problems)

I have installed the Guidance Automation Extensions (no problem)

I have tried to install the Guidance tool kit ( would not install gave message that VS 2008 was not installedto the GAX was not installed)

I get the same message when I try to install the following Factory Patterns:

Smart Client Software Factory

Web Service Factory : Modeling Edition for VS 2008

This same behavior is actually happening on both of my systems, I use. My workstation and my Notebook.

Does any one have any ideas what I'm doing wrong, I had all this configured in the past with no problems.

Okay, I think I got it fixed. seems the files were either out of date or corupt, download a fresh copy fixed all the problems and allowed me to install.

On my 64 bit system the Smart Client Software still showed all the componentns missing. But it installed just fine.
