Problem with Website project Globals

I have been trying to store some user information in a website project.

I have been successful in doing that but i have observed that the values of UserProperties are not getting updated immediately in the vwd.Webinfo file. It gets updated and changed if i close and reopen the solution.

I have mostly tried to store some boolean values in the UserProperties like IsClientProject etc... But for some strange reasons the boolean value is getting updated to a value like -1, 0, even though there isnt any action which updates the UserProperties values in the recipe. This strange behavior is viewed whenever there is a project reference getting added through a recipe. No other recipes execution are affecting the state of UserProperties.

Please let know if anyone has faced this strange issue and have been able to overcome the same.

We haven't seen this before and it looks like this may not be related to GAT at all. Have you tried to repro this without GAT being involved? Please try to do so, and also posting this issue to the VS extensibility forums should also help, as people there may know if this is a well-known issues with website projects.
