Per User Arbitrary State?

Hi Guys,

Is there anyway for me to store arbitrary state in a solution, per user that i can recall each time a receipe is executed.
I've fonud posts on UserProperties and various these about IExtenders but I've struggled to find any clear doc's/examples.

Kind Regards.
