On Package Load Templates Exception?

<Action Name="RoleModuleRef"

Type="RefCreator"

AssetName="Projects\Module\ModuleHandle.vstemplate"

ReferenceType="Wpf.Factory.Package.References.SolutionFolderRecipeReference, Wpf.Factory.Package" />

Throws exception on loading package saying that template is not registered.

Template exists in expected folder...

Thanks,

Ales. M.

Hi Ales,

A template needs to be registered (which is something that happens when you register or install a guidance package) in order to be usable. Even if the vstemplate is in the expected folder on your filesystem, if it wasn't registered properly it won't work at runtime.

Are you able to register the package without any errors? If so, can you please post the exact text for the exception you're getting plus information as to where in your filesystem the vstemplate is living?

thanks,

-vga.
