Greetings!

I've been evaluating the Smart Client Software Factories from the Patterns & Practices group. As i try to evaulate them, i need to use/install some pre-requisites like GAX, GAT, SQL Compact edition etc..

Though the SCSF license seems to be open source kind and allows Free usage to developers in Commercial projects, the pre-requsites licenses are pre-releases version and probhit using those components for Commercial / Web projects. This is causing confusion wrt usage of the SCSF itself in my current company commercial projects.

Would request the MS team please clarify the appropriate Licensing rights for both the SCSF & its pre-requesites GAX, GAT, etc. .

I've even tried lodging a query on the same on the Commuity site of SCSF, but no one has as yet responded. Pls visit http://www.codeplex.com/smartclient/Thread/View.aspx?ThreadId=21639for the details.

MS team's proper guidance on the matter will be highly appreciated.
