Guidance package solution lost recipes

Hi,

I'm not sure if I'm using the right terms, so I'll lay out what happenned.

I created a guidance package solution to create my own guidance package. It was all fine, registered fine and was able to use it to create a new solution using my own guidance package and had it going along well.

I added it to our TFS repository when we got that up and going and that was working fine, but then someone changed the structure of our TFS layout. Since it didnt match what was on my HD anymore I had to check it out again into a new location. Now when I load the solution from the new location, none of the guidance package recipes are attached to my solution. Basically the problem is that when I right click my project, I dont get the 'Register' 'Unregister' and 'Quick Register' options anymore.

Can anyone help me fix this problem?

Hi Ben,

When you add the project to TFS you also have to include the .gpstate file where is serialized all the information related with the guidance packages which are active in the solution and its recipe states.

You can easily solve the problem reenabling the guidance package through Tools/Recipe Manager option.

Thanks. I added the .gpstate file to the solution and checked it in.
