GAX/GAT for VS 2005-2008 default templates removed

I am having VS 2005 and VS 2008 on an XP box.
I installed the following
* Guidance Automation Extensions (February 2008) Release for Visual Studio 2005 and Visual Studio 2008
* Guidance Automation Toolkit (February 2008) Release for Visual Studio 2005
* Guidance Automation Toolkit (February 2008) Release for Visual Studio 2008

After installation the default Project Item templates for C# and VB.NET were missing.

Was wondering has any other faced this problem.

We've now tried this on different configurations (XP, w2k3 and Vista) with both VSs installed and we could not repro.

If you can repro this consistently please let me know and we can work from there.

Hi Pragneshsp,

I've tried to repro this without luck. I've installed GAX Feb08 on a XP box with both, VS2005 and VS2008 installed, then I installed GAT for VS2005 and GAT for VS2008. I could still see the default item templates for C# and VB when creating for example a Class Library project.

If you could provide more info on what you did and confirm if what you're missing are the items I described above, that could help the guessing game.

Thanks for the reply.
I uninstalled and reinstalled VS 2005 /VS 2008, and then tried to install GAX/GAT 08. But surprisingly this time, the default items were available.

Guess it was a one-time error.
