GAX not wanting to install

Hi,

I first need to install the GAX and then GAT, but when I try to install th GAX then I get the following error:

The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the Windows Installer service because the program to be upgraded may be missing, or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program. Verify that the program to be upgraded exists on your computer and that you have the correct upgrade patch.

I have installed the latest service pack for Visual Studio 2008 Developer edition and .NET 3.5. I do not know what this means and how to fix it, any one with some suggestions? I am using Windows XP Pro.

Remember that you need to run the first link at first time, and then the second, because it is the upgrade.

Hi Brendan,

Did you already have installed GAX before try to install the patch?, You just need the patch if you want to develop something under the Vs experimental hive, if not the patch is not really neccesary.
