Hy All,

I've uninstalled GAT/GAX February CTP (after manually deletedmy packages from .xml & registry as mention on http://www.clariusconsulting.net/blogs/pga/archive/2006/10/13/4522.aspx).

Reinstallation of GAX, GAT works fine but I'm not able to register any packages. also the Guidance Automation Development Package included in GAT doesn't work: I cannot create a Project based on this.

The error is Couldn't find ENVDTE.dll and it apper when I try to register a package or when launching a new project wizard based on GAT Development Package.

With my "old" (Feb 2007) packages I've also set Specific Version to False to recompile them (as mention in readme.txt): I'm able to compile but not to register it. He cannot find ENVDTE.

Any ideas ?

The original MSI for GAX Feb07 had a bug that uninstalled EnvDTE assembly from X:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\Common7\IDE\PublicAssemblies. A refreshed MSI was put online a few days after we discover this but most probably you were using the original MSI.

Can you please look at the mentioned folder and check if that assembly is there? If it's not then doing a Visual Studio Repair (from Control Panel) should bring that file again.
