I removed VS 2005, then installed VS2008 RTM on Vistan Business. I then went to remove 2007 GAX and GAT so I could install the latest SCSF, but they won't uninstall. WhenI run the uninstall from the control panel, it says "preparing to remove", then "Please wait while Windows Configures the Guidance AutomationToolkit". Then a dialog box pops up with no text at all, justa PC icon on the left, and an OK button.

Which I have to say is stunningly uninformative, even by MS standards. Worse, it is possible to construe the image as that of the Earth's natural satellite, and feel that the program is mooning me. When I click OK, the installer terminate.

I've attempted to follow the directoins in the first post for removal, but they don't seem to do anything. How can I get this [expletive] off my machine without completely repaving it? Thanx.
