Application Block Software Factory templates don't appear in VS 2008

I've installed .NET 3.0, EL 3.1, GAX, and GAT.

When creating a New Project in VS 2008, Under Guidance Packages, the only template is for a Guidance Package.

When creating a New Project in VS 2005, Under Guidance Packages, there are about 20 templates under Application Block Software Factory.

Is there some trick to get those same templates to appear under 2008?

Hi forty7,

No, you have to get the proper version of the Guidance Package that you wish to use with VS2008. In particular the Application Block unfortunately is not supported for VS2008.

Hi forty7,

I know the next version of EntLib targetting VS 2008 is going to be out very soon -- I'll try to find out if it includes a refreshed Application Block that works in VS 2008 and let you know.

thanks,
