Access to $fileinputname$

Hi all,

I have an item template that, when expanded, calls a recipe that needs access to the name of the item (class) the user entered on the New Item dialog. I have tried using the IDirectoryService to get the fileinputname value but was unsuccessful. Does anyone know how to get this value?
