Invalid pointer error when trying to save solution after creating relationships in a sql server 2008 express database

I have a database created in sql server 2088 express with 6 tables.
I can save the solution with no problem, until I open the database diagram and start creating the relationships.

Once I create any one of the Primary key -> Foreign key relationships and try to save the solution, Visual Studio throws a "The operation could not be completed, Invalid pointer" error.

if I remove the relationship, and try to "Save all" it still throws the error.
If I then rebuild the solution, then "Save all" it saves ok again.

Any ideas?

Hi,

It apears .net Framework 3.5 did not get installed successful. You might need to use the tool below to clean the .net framework 2.0 first .

Hi,

Could you please be more specific about how do you create the relationship? From where to manupulate the database?
