What is this designer trying to say????

I am guessing we are to still post for the Express Editions here in the old forums? I still don't see them in the new ones. I also hope we can include images (.jpg etc.) in the new ones because I took a screenshot for this question that I really wanted to include.

Problem is this...I have a database, I have it set up as a datasource in my project. In the screenshot you can see that it and all of the tables/views are available in thedatasources pane; in the Solution Explorer, the dataset is showing there. Yet as soon as I drag a table or view over to the form designer (in details mode or gridview mode), it complains with 7 error messages:

Error1Type 'MusicLibraria.Music2008DataSet' is not defined.G:\Databases\Libraria\MusicLibraria\LibrariaMusic.Designer.vb3235MusicLibraria
Error2Type 'MusicLibraria.Music2008DataSetTableAdapters.AlArMergeTableAdapter' is not defined.G:\Databases\Libraria\MusicLibraria\LibrariaMusic.Designer.vb3440MusicLibraria
Error3Type 'MusicLibraria.Music2008DataSetTableAdapters.TableAdapterManager' is not defined.G:\Databases\Libraria\MusicLibraria\LibrariaMusic.Designer.vb3538MusicLibraria
Error4'Music2008DataSetTableAdapters' is not a member of 'MusicLibraria.MusicLibraria'.G:\Databases\Libraria\MusicLibraria\LibrariaMusic.Designer.vb9646MusicLibraria
Error5Type 'MusicLibraria.Music2008DataSet' is not defined.G:\Databases\Libraria\MusicLibraria\LibrariaMusic.Designer.vb32243MusicLibraria
Error6Type 'MusicLibraria.Music2008DataSetTableAdapters.AlArMergeTableAdapter' is not defined.G:\Databases\Libraria\MusicLibraria\LibrariaMusic.Designer.vb32448MusicLibraria
Error7Type 'MusicLibraria.Music2008DataSetTableAdapters.TableAdapterManager' is not defined.G:\Databases\Libraria\MusicLibraria\LibrariaMusic.Designer.vb32546MusicLibraria

Yet as I say, the dataset is clearly there. Any thoughts, anyone?

Thanks,

Don

I kept hunting around in the forums and found this can be caused by a corrupt project. Since I was just starting anyway, I dumped the project and started again and all has been well since.

Why don't you do this programmatically? Only takes a few lines of code..

And where is your picture? Do you have a link?

It looks like the line numbers of the errors are listed have you got line numbering turned on ?
