I Did installed Visual studio 2005 then V.C#, V. C++, V. J# an Visual Basic 2005, but before I installed all, I installed SQL Server 2005 Express edition first, my question is do I have to unistalled all of them first and then re-install Visual Studio??and then Installed all other programs or not.

The reason why I asked is because when I tried to access a database from the sql server I cannot access it say "an error ocurred while stablishing a connection with the server, this failure may be cause by the default settings SQL server does not allow remote connections name provider error 40 could not open a connectionto SQL Server"

When you install sql server 2005 any edition the remote connections to the database are turned off, you need to configure them to allow remote connections.

Note that when you do install the express editions they do instll sql express, but they will only install one instance on the machine and the other IDES will detect this and use it... The instance name is ".\SQLEXPRESS"

I do appreciated very much, now everything is working. I got my databases loaded and now I can create my projects and use the tables from the database.
