Installing VB2005 or VB2008 Express version from burned CD

Hi Everyone,

I've recently faced to a problem for which I'm not able to resolve.
I've downloaded ISO file of VB2005 and VB2008 Express version on Microsoft web site. I've then burned ISO file onto a CD. The installation works greatwith aWin XP computer. but with Vista, I always have this error message saying: "Setup has encountered a problem trying to copy: E:\Autorun.inf" after stating up the installation. First I thought it was because I wasn't an administrator. I then logged on with an adminstrator account and it does the same thing. There also another weird thing related with this CD with VISTA I'm not able to open this autorun.inf manually it says: "Access is denied". Would someboday here be able to help me with that!

Thank You

Hello,

When installing the program, please right click the msi file and select Run as administrator.

Then please open the ISO folder. Right click the file Autorun.inf and select Properties. Under Security tab, grant the Full Control permission of this file for your account.

If you have any further questions, please be free to tell me.

Finally the problem came from the fact that our Network administrator blocks via Mccafee all Autorun.inf. So I fixed the problem by deleting their stopid Mccafee rules.
