I'm having trouble with the VS2008 help TOC in 32-bit XP with VS2005 and VS2008 both installed. We integrate our help into the MS.VSIPCC.v90 namespace using the help merge modules. When have two separate products that are trying to integrate help and the problem occurs when the second one is installed.

After the install of the first product, the TOC is correct. When the second product is installed, though, the TOC for the first product disappears (even in the unfiltered view) and the second product's TOC appears correctly. The filters of the first product still appear, though selecting them displays a blank TOC. These two products have separate namespaces, help files, filters, etc. It seems that the only two things they share are the help redist MSMs and the fact that both are plugging into MS.VSIPCC.v90.

If I use the combined help collection manager to unselect then reselect the first product, it appears correctly in the TOC again. It does not matter which order the two products are installed; whichever is installed second wipes the TOC of the first. We use the same process for VS2005 (with the VS2005 help MSMs) and it works correctly. Any help is greatly appreciated!
