Visual Studio 2008 SP1 MSDN library "Navigation Cancelled"

Hello all,

My Visual Studio 2008 SP1 MSDN library under Microsoft Document Explorer 2008 on Vista Ultimate 32 has recently stopped working. No matter what page I try to go to I just get a page saying "Navigation to webpage was canceled". I have not used Visual Studio on a couple of months so I am not sure what I may have done to break it. I have uninstalled/reinstalled both the MSDN Library and the Microsoft Document Explorer 2008 as both Administrator and a normal user. The installation lives on a local hard drive.I have disabled my Virus Scanner. I have reset all of my default programs including Internet Explorer. The interesting part is if I copy the ms-help: URL from the Document Explorer and paste it into Internet Explorer 8.0 the page displays without any problems. I am not sure what else to try. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
Andrew

I have been having the same problem. I use the library quite often, and this only started since the last update (8/18?).

Ditto here. It is REALLY frustrating to be unable to get to the help docs.

Is there nobody at MS who has seen this and has a fix?
