Shortkey enabling

Just a quick question, is there a setting in the options somewhere that
makes the shortcut keys show with the underline when you run the
application? In the designer it shows the shortcut keys with the underline
but when i run the application it does not show the underline indicating a
shortcut key. Now if I push the alt key they show up and they work fine
just wondering if there is a setting somewhere that will make them show the
underline automatically when you run the application so an inexperienced
user knows that there are shortcut keys available?
