Dynamic Picture Objects in CR XI R2

I have a CR XI R2 report. I have created a subreport which only contains images (up to 3). I have a table that links to my main report and has 3 fields with the filename of the picture I want displayed.

First, how do I bind this reportset to the picture objects so they change to what's in the database.

Second, if my 2nd and 3rd picture fields are NULL, will the default picture still display of will it display nothing (desired action).
