CrystalDecisions can not be found

I have Visual Studio 2005 and am working of a program with some one else who is working onthe Crystal Report portion of the program. When he sends me the program version that he has (including the Crystal Report), I get errors saying “The referenced component can not be found” for:

CrystalDecisions.Crystal Reports.Engine

CrystalDecisions.Crystal Enterprise.Framework

CrystalDecisions.Crystal Reports.Infostore

CrystalDecisions.ReportSource

CrystalDecisions.Shared

CrystalDecisions.Windows.Forms

Do I need to download something for CrystalDecisions from some place or should it already be in my Visual Studio 2005? I don't see anything on the instal disc about it.

Than you,

Dan

Hi,

They will not affect each other .
The vb.net project might need to be converted to vs2008, it will be done when you open it with vs 2008.

Happy coding,
Harry

Hello Harry,
I have 2005 Sandard Edition but I will have 2008 Professional later today. Will 2008 Professional include Crystal Reports and can I just install 2008 without removing 2005? Also, can you tell me if my current VB code will be unaffected by moving to 2008 Professional. I am almost finished writing a program and I don't want to mess it up.
Thank you,
Dan
